FRISCO - Enemies on the field, FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo organizations are proving what Texas hospitality is all about off of it.
In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, both the Houston Dynamo and the Houston Dash (NWSL) will train in Frisco at the Toyota Soccer Center for the remainder of the week, with the Dash playing their home match against Seattle Reign FC at Toyota Stadium on Sunday night, presented by the FC Dallas Foundation, with all proceeds benefitting the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. General admission tickets are just $20.

The Dynamo and Dash teams will bus to the Dallas area this afternoon and will train Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Dynamo will also train on Sunday in Frisco, while the Dash play their scheduled home game. BBVA Compass Stadium, where both the Dynamo and Dash play, has opened as a site to collect donations from around the greatern Houston area.
“We are extremely grateful to our friends at FC Dallas for opening their doors to us in a time of need. We may be rivals on the pitch, but we’re all Texans and this is the heart of what makes our state so amazing,” Dynamo and Dash President Chris Canetti said in the organization's press release. “Our primary concern remains with our friends, neighbors and fellow Texans who have been affected by this unprecedented storm, and the thoughts and prayers of everyone in our organization will be with everyone here...At the same time, both teams must continue to prepare for their upcoming games as we continue to push for the playoffs in both leagues.”

“It’s such a challenging time for everyone in the greater Houston area,” said FC Dallas president Dan Hunt. “We’re happy to partner with the Houston Dash organization and help them work through this situation.”
