FRISCO — FC Dallas WPSL fell for the first time this season, losing 2-0 on the road to SouthStar FC last Friday.
The loss came one week after FCD's first win of the season after defeating Texas Spurs FC 3-0 in front of a home crowd at Dr. Pink Field.
“Credit to the South Stars," WPSL Head Coach Tyler Powell said. "They played a hard fought game. This game boiled down to mistakes, and we made two big mistakes that cost us two goals. Just like after a win, we will have a good session and attitude, and will learn from this and move forward.”
FCD will be back in action Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in Lucas, Texas, in a rematch against Texas Spurs FC. It will be the second consecutive road match before returning home against Oklahoma City FC on Friday at 7 p.m.
