FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 27, 2026) – FC Dallas has permanently transferred forward Deedson to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard of Ligue 2 in France. Deedson departs Dallas after representing the Haiti men’s national team in its first FIFA World Cup appearance since 1974.
Deedson scored his first FC Dallas goal on April 11 against St. Louis CITY SC and appeared in nine matches since joining the club in the summer of 2025.
Deedson joined Odense Boldklub (OB) in July 2023 and made his debut as a substitute on July 23, 2023, against Randers FC. Over two seasons with the Danish club, Deedson scored 15 goals and recorded 10 assists across all competitions. In 2025, OB finished atop the NordicBet Liga to earn promotion to the Danish Superliga, the top division of soccer in Denmark.
Prior to joining OB, Deedson began his professional career with Hobro IK, signing with the Danish club in August 2019 at the age of 18. He made his professional debut on Dec. 6, 2019, against AC Horsens. During his time with Hobro, Deedson competed in the Danish Superliga, NordicBet Liga and Oddset Pokalen. He departed the club with 22 goals, eight assists and 82 appearances across all competitions from 2019-23.
A Kalonji SA product, Deedson spent three years with the Academy and helped the club become 2019 U.S. U-18 Youth National Champions. He recorded two goals and one assist in Kalonji SA's 7-0 win over Solar in the championship match.
A native of Tabarre, Haiti, Deedson made his international debut on March 25, 2021, against Belize in the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers. He has earned 35 caps and scored 10 goals for Haiti.
