FC Dallas trades goalkeeper Dan Kennedy to the LA Galaxy in exchange for draft picks

FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, Dec. 15) – FC Dallas has sent goalkeeper Dan Kennedy to the LA Galaxy in exchange for the club’s natural second and third round selections in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, the club announced today.

Kennedy, 33, came to Dallas as the No. 1 overall selection in the 2014 MLS Dispersal Draft on Nov. 19. The California native added 16 starts, a 7-5-4 record and five clean sheets to his robust MLS resume this past season. Kennedy’s 1.19 goals against average was the second-lowest of his nine-year career.
