FRISCO - FC Dallas is proud to announce that they have been named Editor's Choice Best Sports Team and Toyota Stadium has been named Editor's Choice Best Sports Venue in the 2016 D Magazine Best of Big D Awards. 


Currently the top team in the MLS standings, FC Dallas has enjoyed a staggering 21-2-5 record in MLS regular season matches at Toyota Stadium since the start of 2015 including an active franchise-record 16-match home unbeaten streak that dates back to mid-August of 2015. In August, FC Dallas will begin CONCACAF Champions League play at Toyota Stadium for the first time since 2011.


Nearing its 11th birthday on August 6th, Toyota Stadium has boasted its biggest-ever 18 months dating back to the start of 2015 with the venue hosting marquee soccer matches including the 2015 MLS Western Conference Finals, 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup kickoff match featuring the US Men's National Team against Honduras, 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying group stage featuring the US Women's National Team, US Men's National Team vs Ecuador Copa America warmup friendly and 2015 Campeon de Campeones Liga MX doubleheader. Toyota Stadium is also proud to be the annual home of the NCAA Football FCS National Championship. 


The venue has also boasted major sellout concerts including Ed Sheeran's largest-ever United States concert to date, inaugural Bud Light Off The Rails two-day Country Music Festival, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, 102.1 FM Edgefest, Toyota Texas Fest and many more. 


Toyota Stadium is currently undergoing major renovations bringing the United States National Soccer Hall of Fame to the Frisco stadium.
