FRISCO - In their first ever home match against another MLS team, the FC Dallas Special Olympics team defeated Colorado Rapids Special Olympics 2-0 on an unforgettable night for both teams at Toyota Stadium.
After a scoreless first half, the FC Dallas first teamers joined the Special Olympics team to cheer them on and it clearly had a very positive affect on the taem. Jacob Hill and Steven McIlhenny scored goals in the 32nd and 39th minutes to seal a 2-0 win for FC Dallas in front of a large and boisterous crowd that stayed after the FC Dallas first team's 3-1 win over Colorado.
After the match, both teams celebrated together, honoring a fantastic display of athleticism and sportsmanship from FCD and Colorado.
