Western Conference leader in points-per-game adds depth to attack prior to close of FIFA’s international transfer window
FRISCO – FC Dallas has signed Venezuelan midfielder Luis Gonzalez, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and P-1 Visa.
Nicknamed “Cariaco” after his hometown in Venezuela, the 26-year-old, has over 185 appearances in the Venezuelan first division with Caracas, Deportivo la Guaira, Mineros de Guayana and most-recently, Monagas.
Since joining Monagas in 2016, Gonzalez has 17 goals in 45 appearances. He has earned three caps with the Venezuelan National Team since 2016.
Gonzalez joins fellow Venezuelan, Carlos Cermeño on the FC Dallas roster.
