Brazilian defender joins the No. 1 defense in the Western Conference
FRISCO – FC Dallas has signed defender Marquinhos Pedroso using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) and pending receipt of his ITC and P-1 visa. Per team policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
With Major League Soccer's secondary transfer window opening on Tuesday, July 10, the first match Pedroso would be eligible to play in would be against Chicago on Saturday, July 14.

Pedroso, 24, has made 108 appearances (98 starts) in Brazilian (70/63), Turkish (15/15) and Hungarian (23/20) first division matches since 2012. He will occupy an international roster slot.
A dual citizen of Brazil and Italy, he made his professional debut at 18 years old for Figueirense. He has also appeared for Grêmio (Brazil), Gaziantepspor (Turkey) and Ferencváros (Hungary), finishing second in the Hungarian first division last season.
