FC Dallas Signs Defender Moises Hernandez

Former FC Dallas Academy star has over 130 first division appearances since 2012

FRISCO – FC Dallas has signed Moises Hernandez pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate, the club announced today.


Hernandez, 26, first joined FC Dallas, along with Victor Ulloa and Ruben Luna as the club’s second, third and fourth Homegrown players on July 30, 2010. He was loaned to Guatemalan side Comunicaciones in 2012, where he appeared in four matches. Hernandez was loaned to Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa for the second half of 2012 and the 2013 campaigns, appearing in 20 matches.

The former FC Dallas Academy player made his MLS debut in FCD’s 2014 season opener, playing 90 minutes in a 3-2 win versus the Montreal Impact on March 8. Hernandez appeared in a total of 31 MLS matches between 2014 and 2015, before being loaned to Rayo OKC for the 2016 season. He appeared in 26 matches with one goal and one assist for the NASL side that season.


Hernandez signed with Comunicaciones in 2017, appearing in 46 matches over the last two seasons.
