FC Dallas signs defender Aubrey David on loan from Deportivo Saprissa

FRISCO, Texas (Monday, July 4, 2016) – FC Dallas has signed Trinidad and Tobago defender Aubrey David, pending receipt of his ITC and P-1 visa, on loan through the end of the 2016 season, from Deportivo Saprissa of the Costa Rican first division.

David, 25, began his career with FC South End, a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Pro League, in 2009. The defender appeared in 37 matches with various Trinidad and Tobago first division sides between 2009 and 2013. David was loaned to FF Jaro of Finland’s first division in 2014, where he scored three goals in 31 appearances. He spent the 2015 season with Shakhter Karagandy. During his stint in Karagandy, Kazakhstan, David appeared in 19 matches before transferring to Deportivo Saprissa this spring. David added another two goals and 10 games to his resume during his time in Costa Rica.

David debuted for the Trinidad and Tobago national team during the 2012 Caribbean Cup. He has played in 23 matches for the Soca Warriors with one goal.
