FRISCO – FC Dallas has signed forward Zdeněk Ondrášek from Polish first-division side Wisła Kraków using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM). Per team policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed. He will be added to the roster and occupy an international spot pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.

Ondrášek, 29, was transferred to Polish first-division team Wisła Kraków in 2016, where he has appeared in 66 matches in Ekstraklasa, scoring 20 goals and nine assists. He has also scored one goal and one assist in three Polish Cup matches.
Nicknamed “The Cobra”, Ondrášek started his professional career in the Czech first-division with České Budějovice in 2007. He appeared in 81 matches and scored 22 goals in five seasons. In 2009, he did a short-loan stint with Czech third-division team, FK Čáslav, where he scored four goals in 14 appearances.

In 2012, he was loaned to Norwegian first-division club Tromsø IL where he had an impressive debut, scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win against Fredrikstad FK after being subbed on in the 31st minute. Following his success during his loan, Tromsø IL signed him to a contract until 2015. He had 85 appearances in the Eliteserien league, 25 appearances in 1.divisjon, a second-division league, 13 appearances in the Norwegian Football Cup and 19 appearances in Europa League matches. He scored 55 goals and 17 assists across all competitions for Tromsø IL.
He earned three caps for the Czech Republic U-21 National Team in 2011.
