CARSON, California (Aug. 1, 2026) – FC Dallas (7-5-6, 27 points) earned its second road draw of the season after playing the LA Galaxy (5-7-7, 22 points) to a scoreless draw Saturday night at Dignity Health Sports Park.
A CAREER NIGHT FOR SIROIS
Goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois recorded a career-high nine saves against the LA Galaxy and earned his first clean sheet with FC Dallas. The Canadian goalkeeper also won 100 percent of his aerial duels.
HOLSTAD MAKES MLS DEBUT
Midfielder Clay Holstad made his MLS debut in the 79th minute. FC Dallas acquired Holstad on loan from USL Championship side Rhode Island FC through the end of the 2026 season. Rhode Island FC's all-time appearance leader, Holstad made 96 appearances across all competitions from 2024-26, recording 10 goals and eight assists. FC Dallas Head Coach Eric Quill coached Holstad at Texans SC during his youth career in Houston.
LOCKING DOWN THE BACKLINE
Homegrown defender Nolan Norris continued his strong season, making his 14th appearance of 2026. The Fort Worth native finished with a team-high 18 defensive actions, including 15 clearances, two tackles and one interception.
