FRISCO — Multiple FC Dallas players have been named to preliminary rosters for the upcoming Gold Cup and Copa America tournaments.
Midfielder Carlos Gruezo has been listed on the initial list for the Ecuador National Team to compete in the Copa America tournament taking place in Brazil. Gruezo has been called up multiple times throughout his career including a World Cup appearance and time in world cup qualifying games along with over 19 appearances with the Ecuador National Team. Carlos Gruezo has been with FC Dallas since 2016 and will be coming up on a milestone of 100 matches with the club.
Midfielder Bryan Acosta, and defender Reggie Cannon have been listed on the preliminary rosters for the Gold Cup as well. Bryan Acosta was listed on Honduras' preliminary roster after signing with FC Dallas in January of 2019. Throughout his career he has played in 129 games with the Honduran first team and has played in World Cup qualifiers.
Reggie Cannon has been called-up multiple times throughout his professional career with FC Dallas. He's played friendlies with the U.S. Men's National Team and also competed in two Concacaf Champions League games in his time with the first team. Cannon has started nearly every game he has played in since getting called-up to the first team.
The Gold Cup official rosters come out the first week of June, with the first matches taking place on June 15th.
