Expansion club’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium debut set for Sept. 10, will air nationally on FS1
FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas’ match against Atlanta United FC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been moved back one day to Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9, the match will now be nationally televised on FS1. The game will be Atlanta’s debut at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It will also be the first regular-season professional sporting event held at the new home of Atlanta United FC and the Atlanta Falcons.
“We are eager to move into Mercedes-Benz Stadium and look forward to welcoming FC Dallas on Sept. 10 for the first-ever match in our new home,” said Atlanta United president Darren Eales.
