FRISCO, Texas (April 13, 2023) – FC Dallas has loaned defender Isaiah Parker to USL Championship side San Antonio FC for the remainder of the 2023 season. He is eligible to be recalled by FC Dallas at any point this season. Per team policy, additional terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Parker, 20, was selected third overall in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft after appearing in 21 matches for Saint Louis University. He made his MLS debut with FC Dallas in the 2022 season opener against Toronto FC. He appeared in 23 MLS NEXT Pro appearances with North Texas SC, scoring two goals and adding four assists in 1,959 minutes played. He scored his first professional goal in the 3-1 loss to Earthquakes II on July 10.
Parker tallied three goals and seven assists in 1,230 minutes played during his collegiate career. He was named to the Atlantic 10 Conference All-Rookie team, Top Drawer Soccer First-Team Freshman Best XI team and ranked No. 2 on Top Drawer Soccer’s Midseason Men’s Top 100 Freshmen list. Parker played in the FC United Academy for five years and helped FC United U-17 and U-19 Academy teams to Development Academy and MLS Next playoffs. The Gurnee, Illinois native is a Generations adidas player.
