FRISCO, Texas (Oct. 14, 2010) – In celebration of their berth in the upcoming 2010 MLS playoffs presented by Cash America, FC Dallas players and dancers will be appearing at local pub partners during the final two weeks of the regular season. The next appearance on the tour, which is already underway, features FC Dallas players Daniel Hernandez and George John at Trinity Hall in Dallas. The pair, who will be accompanied by FC Dallas dancers, will be at the Irish pub in Mockingbird Station on Oct. 20 in conjunction with the Champions League game between Inter Milan and Tottenham (see below for the full schedule).
The playoff prep party continues all week long, including an FC Dallas game watching party at the Pizza Hut Park Stadium Club on Sunday night. Non-traveling FC Dallas players will join fans that night to watch the team take on the star-studded LA Galaxy at The Home Depot Center. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. Central Time and admission to the Stadium Club is free, with food and beverage available for purchase.
The Playoff Pub Tour featuring cameo appearances by select FC Dallas stars will culminate with a Playoff Pep Rally at Mockingbird Station featuring the entire FC Dallas team and coaching staff on Oct. 26. Fans can purchase special $10 playoff tickets on site during the Playoff Pub Tour.
Meanwhile, Dallas Observer and FC Dallas have teamed up to give two fans the chance to go on the road to see FC Dallas in the playoffs. Fans can register online at DallasObserver.com or by clicking HERE. The winner will receive a trip for two to the FC Dallas MLS Conference Semi-Final away game, including airfare, two-night hotel stay, ground transportation and two game tickets.
