FC Dallas Homegrowns Nolan Norris and Tarik Scott Called into National Team Duty

FRISCO, Texas (Jan. 6, 2023) – FC Dallas Homegrowns Nolan Norris and Tarik Scott have been called up by United States U-19 head coach Marko Mitrović for the upcoming training camp at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. from Jan. 5-13.

FC Dallas Academy players Henry Canizalez Jr. (El Salvador), Malachi Molina (Jamaica), Bryce Outman (United States), and Nayrobi Vargas (Honduras) have also been called up by their respective countries for upcoming January camps to prepare for the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship tournament taking place in Guatemala from Feb. 11-26.

Nolan, 17, signed as FC Dallas’ 35th Homegrown player on Nov. 16, 2022. He joined the FC Dallas Academy at 12 years old in 2017 and was part of the U-13 Academy team that won the 2018 Dallas Cup. He also won the 2019 Bayern Adidas Campus Cup. Norris made his professional debut for North Texas SC, FC Dallas’ MLS NEXT Pro affiliate club, in the 1-0 win against Earthquakes II on April 17, 2022.

Scott, 17, signed as FC Dallas’ 34th Homegrown player on Nov. 15, 2022. He joined the FC Dallas youth system at five years old in 2011 before joining the FC Dallas Academy system in 2016. He was the 2021 U-17 MLS NEXT Cup Golden Boot winner after scoring four goals for FC Dallas U-17 Academy team. Scott made his professional debut on March 26, 2022 with NTSC, where he scored his first professional brace in the 3-1 win against MNUFC2. Scott was selected to be part of the 2022 Bayern World Squad.
