FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas head coach Nico EstĂ©vez has been placed in the MLS health and safety protocols. Per MLS COVID-19 guidelines, EstĂ©vez will miss the beginning of FC Dallas’ preseason trip in Bradenton, Fla. to quarantine and hopes to join the team once he receives clearance from the medical staff.Â
EstĂ©vez is asymptomatic and will be watching the training sessions remotely. FC Dallas assistant coaches Ben Cross and Peter Luccin will manage FC Dallas’ preseason match on Tuesday against U.S. U-20 MNT.Â
Estévez is the only member of the FC Dallas roster and coaching staff in the health and safety protocols.
