FRISCO, Texas (Wednesday, Nov. 16) – The FC Dallas Foundation is offering four grants worth $2,500 each to deserving non-profit organizations with similar missions to promote healthy, active lifestyles for North Texas youth.
Applicants must focus on nutrition or healthy activity through sports, preferably soccer. The Foundation is currently accepting applications with a deadline of Jan. 20, 2017. All applications will be reviewed in February 2017 with grantees announced and funds distributed in March 2017. To apply, visit //www.fcdallas.com/community/grants.
The FC Dallas Foundation works to promote healthy, active lifestyles through its many projects. The Foundation has built four community fields for children in underserved areas of North Texas, and will dedicate its fifth field this December in East Collin County. With its new grant program, the Foundation is seeking to broaden its reach by supporting like-minded non-profit organizations that strive to improve the lives of disadvantaged youth through nutrition and activity.
