FRISCO, Texas (Dec. 15, 2025) – The FC Dallas Foundation, in partnership with the City of Frisco, Amazon, La Moderna, UMB Bank, and Gallagher, today celebrated the dedication of a new outdoor futsal court in Frisco, marking the Foundation’s 13th field development project and the first outdoor futsal court ever built in the city.

The new mini-pitch continues the FC Dallas Foundation’s long-term commitment to expanding safe, accessible play spaces across North Texas, providing local youth and families with a year-round venue for soccer, futsal, and community programming.

Since launching its Field Development Program in 2011, the FC Dallas Foundation has built 13 mini-pitches and futsal courts throughout Dallas, Collin, and Denton counties, representing more than $2 million in community investment and serving more than 5,000 children each week.

“This futsal court represents exactly what our Field Development Program is about, creating places where kids can be active, build confidence, and connect through the game of soccer,” said Brooke Leverette, Senior Director of FC Dallas Foundation & Community Relations. “Bringing the first outdoor futsal court to Frisco is a meaningful milestone for our Foundation.”

The new court builds on the FC Dallas Foundation’s growing footprint across North Texas, joining previous field development projects in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, and surrounding communities. Each project reinforces the Foundation’s mission to promote health, wellness, education, and inclusion through the sport of soccer.

“This new outdoor futsal court is an incredible addition for Frisco and our families,” said Mayor Jeff Cheney, City of Frisco. “Providing high-quality, accessible spaces for kids to be active and connect through sports strengthens our community. We’re proud to partner with the FC Dallas Foundation to bring the city’s first outdoor futsal court to life.”
