FRISCO - Walker Zimmerman made his U.S. National Team debut on Friday night in a 1-0 win over Jamaica, and did so in resounding fashion.
Named Player of the Match by the FS1 crew, Zimmerman played a full 90 minutes in his Senior Team debut after being a staple of U.S. Youth National Teams throughout his career.
Jordan Morris scored the lone goal of the match in the 59th minute in the final friendly of 2017 January camp.
Zimmerman will return to Dallas on Saturday and join FC Dallas ahead of their preseason trip to Argentina on Saturday. FCD will begin their 2017 campaign on Feb. 23 in a CCL Quarterfinal match against Panamanian-side Arabe Unido at Toyota Stadium
