FRISCO, Texas (Sept. 1, 2026) – In honor of September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, FC Dallas announced initiatives as part of its Kick Childhood Cancer campaign to raise awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer.

FC Dallas Children’s Health Visit
FC Dallas players will visit patients at Children’s Medical Center Plano on Sept. 3, delivering gifts, playing games and spending time with Children’s Health patients.

Kick Childhood Cancer Night Presented by Children’s Health | FC Dallas vs. Portland Timbers
The month’s highlight is FC Dallas’ Kick Childhood Cancer Night, presented by Children’s Health, on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Toyota Stadium. The match will feature specialty Kick Childhood Cancer-themed jersey numbers designed by Octavia, a Children’s Health oncology patient. Fans can show their support with gold ribbon pins, which will be distributed at all Toyota Stadium gates. Specialty Kick Childhood Cancer bucket hats, also designed by Octavia, will serve as the gate giveaway for the first 4,000 fans.

Team members from the Children’s Health Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders will be recognized before the match starts for their continued commitment to make life better for children.

Artwork designed by Children’s Health patients will be featured on the matchday poster. The poster will be available for purchase at Toyota Stadium retail locations, with proceeds benefiting Children’s Health. A portion of the proceeds from FC Dallas jersey sales during September will also benefit Children's Health.

The jerseys worn by FC Dallas players during the match will be auctioned through the DASH Auction App, beginning at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12 and ending at 5 p.m. on Sept. 18. All proceeds will benefit Children’s Health and its mission to make life better for children across North Texas. To learn more, visit give.childrens.com.
