FC Dallas Announces English and Spanish Language Broadcast Plans for 2023

Frisco, TX (Feb. 20, 2023) – A new era of soccer broadcasting begins in 2023 as all FC Dallas regular season, Leagues Cup and postseason matches will air on **MLS Season Pass on Apple TV+**. In addition to complimentary, on-demand programming available in the **MLS Season Pass FC Dallas Club Room**, FC Dallas will offer a robust slate of radio coverage for the 2023 season.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE RADIO BROADCASTS
All FC Dallas matches will be available in English on the official FC Dallas app which can be found for free everywhere apps are available.

FC Dallas broadcasts return to Talk Radio 1190 in 2023 and on the iHeartRadio app.

The English broadcast for each home match will also be available on MLS Season Pass through a dropdown menu option that users can access while watching FC Dallas matches on Apple TV+. This will enable viewers to listen to the local English language audio feed for all FC Dallas matches that are played at Toyota Stadium.

SPANISH LANGUAGE RADIO BROADCASTS
All FC Dallas matches will also be available in Spanish on TUDN Radio Dallas 1270 AM with pre- halftime and postgame coverage.

THE FC DALLAS SHOW ON 97.1 THE FREAK THURSDAYS AT 1PM
The FC Dallas Show moves to The Ben and Skin Show on 97.1 The Freak beginning Thursday, February 23 when they interview FC Dallas head coach Nico Estêvez. Throughout the season FC Dallas players, coaches and members of the front office will join popular Dallas radio hosts Ben Rogers and Jeff “Skin” Wade on at 1PM CT on the iHeartRadio station.

RADIO TALENT
Owen Newkirk will serve as the primary FC Dallas play-by-play voice for English language broadcasts while veteran soccer journalist Steve Davis will join Newkirk in the broadcast booth. Davis and Newkirk will be joined throughout the season with familiar Dallas soccer personalities such as former Dallas Burn goalkeeper Mark Dodd and journalist Jon Arnold. FC Dallas Senior Content Creator Garrett Melcer will provide sideline match coverage while Sam Hale will serve as the producer and host of FC Dallas’ pre- halftime and postgame coverage.

Legendary play-by-play broadcaster Carlos Alvarado returns to the FC Dallas broadcast booth for his 28th season with the franchise to call games in Spanish on TUDN Radio Dallas 1270 AM. Alvarado will be joined by his longtime broadcast partner Raffa Calderon.

2023 HOME OPENER PRESENTED UT SOUTHWESTERN MEDICAL CENTER
FC Dallas opens the 2023 season on Saturday, February 25 at Toyota Stadium when Dallas hosts Minnesota United FC in a match presented by UT Southwestern Medical Center at 7:30PM CT.
