FC Dallas Announces 2023 Preseason Schedule

FRISCO, Texas (Jan. 5, 2023) – FC Dallas announced its preseason schedule today ahead of the 2023 MLS season that is scheduled to begin on February 25 against Minnesota United FC at Toyota Stadium. In addition to training at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas, FC Dallas will hold a training camp at the Marbella Football Center in San Pedro Alcántara, Spain.

FC Dallas players report for entrance physicals, medical exams and testing on Wednesday, January 11. Training at Toyota Soccer Center runs from Jan. 13-28 and includes two intrasquad scrimmages. The team departs for Marbella on Sunday, January 29 and trains in Spain from Jan. 30-Feb. 9 before returning on Friday, February 10. Additional preseason matches will be communicated on the official FC Dallas Twitter account.

The team returns to training at Toyota Soccer Center the week of February 13 and will travel to face Texas Derby rival Houston Dynamo FC on February 18 at 7:30PM in a closed-door friendly in Houston.

Information on preseason media availabilities will be shared in weekly training schedule emails on Sunday evenings. Media members interested in covering training sessions at Toyota Soccer Center are required to RSVP with a member of the FC Dallas Media and Communications department prior to arrival.

Season-Opening Press ConferenceFC Dallas’ annual season-opening press conference with Head Coach Nico Estévez, President Dan Hunt and Technical Director André Zanotta is scheduled for Friday, January 13 at the FC Dallas Team Store following the team’s first training session that begins at 11AM CT on Camry Field 1.
