FRISCO, TX (Dec. 15, 2022) – FC Dallas announced its full 2022 MLS regular season schedule today. Dallas opens its 27th MLS season at home against Toronto FC in a match presented by MTX on Saturday, February 26 at 4:30PM CT at Toyota Stadium. The home opener will be the earliest date FC Dallas has ever opened the MLS regular season, surpassing the 2019 home opener on February 29 against New England Revolution.

Click here for a printable version of the 2022 MLS Regular Season schedule.FC Dallas travels to Gillette Stadium on Saturday, March 5 to face New England Revolution, the 2021 Supporters’ Shield winners, in FC Dallas’ first road match of the season. The match will kick off at 12:30PM CT. FC Dallas returns home for two weeks to face Nashville SC (March 12) and the Portland Timbers (March 19) at Toyota Stadium at 7:30PM CT.

FC Dallas plays five matches in April, two at home and three on the road. Dallas will host the Colorado Rapids on April 9 and Texas Derby rival Houston Dynamo FC on April 23 at Toyota Stadium. The first leg of the Texas Derby will air nationally at 2PM CT on Univision. FC Dallas will face Chicago Fire FC on April 2 at Soldier Field, the New York Red Bulls on April 16 at Red Bull Arena and Sporting Kansas City on April 30 at Children’s Mercy Park.

FC Dallas hosts Seattle Sounders FC on May 7 at Toyota Stadium before traveling to the West coast to play the LA Galaxy (May 14) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (May 18). FC Dallas returns home for the 2022 National Soccer Hall of Fame Induction Weekend match against Minnesota United FC on Sunday, May 22 at 7PM CT at Toyota Stadium. Multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning Zac Brown Band will headline the 2022 National Soccer Hall of Fame weekend with a performance on Saturday, May 21 presented by WinStar World Casino and Resort. The concert will take place at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX following the 2022 National Soccer Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. FC Dallas closes May against Orlando City SC at Exploria Stadium on May 28.

June sees FC Dallas playing just three matches beginning at home on Saturday, June 18 against Minnesota United FC. Dallas travels to Q2 Stadium on Saturday, June 25 to play Austin FC followed by a trip to Banc of California Stadium on Wednesday, June 29 to face LAFC.

FC Dallas hosts Inter Miami CF for its annual Independence Day match and fireworks show on Monday, July 4 at Toyota Stadium before heading on the road to face the Houston Dynamo on July 9. Dallas hosts three more matches at Toyota Stadium in July, including a visit from the 2021 MLS Cup Champions New York City FC on July 13. Texas rival Austin FC makes its only trip to Toyota Stadium on July 16 while Dallas hosts the LA Galaxy on July 30. FCD is on the road against Real Salt Lake July 23.

August sees FC Dallas traveling for the first two matches against Seattle Sounders FC at Lumen Field on Tuesday, August 2 and Portland Timbers on Saturday, August 6 before coming home to host the San Jose Earthquakes (August 13) and Philadelphia Union (August 17). FC Dallas will face Nashville SC on the road at Nissan Stadium on August 21.

FC Dallas will have just three matches in September as MLS will observe the FIFA international window at the end of the month. FC Dallas will be on the road on Saturday, September 3 against Minnesota United FC before coming home to Toyota Stadium to face LAFC on September 10. FC Dallas will wrap the month against the San Jose Earthquakes on September 17 at PayPal Park.

FC Dallas kicks off October against the Colorado Rapids on October 1 at DICK’s Sporting Goods Park before closing its 2022 MLS regular season against Sporting Kansas City on Decision Day, Sunday, October 9 at 4PM CT at Toyota Stadium.

2022 Schedule Notes

With expansion side Charlotte FC joining MLS in 2022, there are now 28 teams in the league with 14 teams in the Western Conference and 14 teams in the Eastern Conference. Charlotte FC will join the Eastern Conference and Nashville SC returns to the Western Conference in 2022.

As a member of the Western Conference, FC Dallas will play each conference opponent twice (once at home and once on the road) and play eight Eastern Conference teams (four at home and four on the road) to complete its 34-match schedule.

FC Dallas will face Toronto FC, Chicago Fire FC, New York Red Bulls and Orlando City SC for the first time since 2019. FC Dallas will host Nashville SC and Miami for the first time since 2020.

FC Dallas has 25 matches on Saturday in 2022, with 12 of those matches at Toyota Stadium. Three matches will be played on Sunday, all in Frisco. FC Dallas will also have six weekday matchups (one on Monday, one on Tuesday and four on Wednesday).

Four FC Dallas matches are currently scheduled to air on network TV:

  • 4/02 at Chicago Fire FC on Univision at 2:30PM CT
  • 4/23 vs. Houston Dynamo FC on Univision at 2PM CT
  • 9/03 at Minnesota United FC on Univision at 2:30PM CT
  • 10/01 at Colorado Rapids on UniMás at 2:30PM CT

The 2022 local broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date. Matches against Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps will also air locally in DFW and across the FCDTV Network.

2022 Title Partner Nights

MTX will kick the season off with FC Dallas’ 27th MLS regular season home opener against Toronto FC on February 26. CoServ will serve as the title partner for FC Dallas’ annual Independence Day match and fireworks show against Inter Miami CF on July 4 at 8PM CT.

AdvoCare is the title partner for FC Dallas’ match against Nashville SC on March 12. FC Dallas’ first 2022 Texas Derby match on April 23 against the Houston Dynamo is presented by Chick-fil-A. FC Dallas’ matches on March 19 vs. the Portland Timbers and September 10 vs. LAFC are presented by Toyota.

FC Dallas’ match against Seattle Sounders FC on May 7 is presented by Texas Health Sports Medicine while UnitedHealthcare headlines FC Dallas’ match against LA Galaxy on July 30. The match against Texas rival Austin FC on July 16 is presented by Pepsi.
