FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, Jan. 5) – FC Dallas will travel to Phoenix, Ariz. and MedellÃn, Colombia during its six-week preseason preparation for the 2016 season, the club announced today.
Players will report on Saturday, Jan. 23 to begin training in Frisco, Texas. The team will remain at Toyota Soccer Center until Monday, Feb. 1, when it departs for Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Ariz. FC Dallas will spend just over a week training south of Phoenix, before returning to Frisco on Feb. 8.
FC Dallas will train at Toyota Soccer Center through Feb. 13 before heading to South America. The team plans to face two Colombian dimayor sides during its time in MedellÃn before returning on Monday, Feb. 22.
FC Dallas will train at Toyota Soccer Center for the two weeks leading up to its 2016 home opener on Sunday, March 6. Dallas opens its 21st Major League Soccer regular season against the Philadelphia Union at Toyota Stadium. That match, presented by AdvoCare, is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. CT.
