FRISCO, Texas (June 1, 2026) — FC Dallas players Petar Musa, Herman Johansson, Deedson, Nolan Norris, Nick Simmonds and Jaidyn Contreras, along with North Texas SC players Ian Charles and Nico Montoya, have been called up to their respective national teams for the June FIFA international window. The group includes three FC Dallas players selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup: Musa (Croatia), Johansson (Sweden) and Deedson (Haiti).
Petar Musa was selected to represent Croatia at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He has earned 10 caps for Croatia and made his senior national team debut in a 1-1 draw against Wales during the European Qualifiers on March 25, 2023. Croatia opens Group L play against England on June 17 at 3 p.m. CT at Dallas Stadium. Vatreni then face Panama on June 23 at 6 p.m. CT at Toronto Stadium before concluding group stage play against Ghana on June 27 at 4 p.m. CT at Philadelphia Stadium.
Deedson was named to Haiti’s final roster for its first FIFA World Cup appearance since 1974. Haiti opens Group C play against Scotland on June 13 at 8 p.m. CT at Boston Stadium. The Grenadiers then face Brazil on June 19 at 7:30 p.m. CT at Philadelphia Stadium before concluding group stage play against Morocco at Atlanta Stadium on June 24 at 5 p.m. CT.
Following a reserve call-up to Sweden’s roster in early May, Johansson was activated to Sweden’s FIFA World Cup roster on May 30. Sweden’s World Cup base camp is located at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Sweden opens Group F play against Tunisia on June 14 at 9 p.m. CT at Monterrey Stadium. Sweden then faces the Netherlands on June 20 at 12 p.m. CT at Houston Stadium before concluding group stage action against Japan on June 25 at 6 p.m. CT at Dallas Stadium.
Nick Simmonds received his first Jamaica senior national team call-up for the 2026 Unity Cup Tournament from May 26-31. Jamaica defeated India in the second semifinal on Wednesday, May 27. Simmonds made his Jamaica senior team debut against Nigeria on May 30.
Norris was called up to the U.S. U-21 men’s youth national team. The United States will face Ukraine on June 5 and Uzbekistan on June 8, with both matches taking place in Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia. Norris previously received a U.S. U-21 call-up during the March international window.
Contreras received a Honduras U-20 national team call-up for a training camp in Spain from May 28 to June 7. Honduras will play three friendlies against the U-20 teams of Barcelona, Elche and Levante.
Charles earned his first call-up to the Puerto Rico senior national team. Puerto Rico will face Saudi Arabia on June 5 at 6 p.m. CT at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.
Montoya earned his first call-up to Colombia’s U-19 national team for a training camp in Barranquilla, Colombia.
