When the team at Illumination Fireworks told me they start planning for the FC Dallas Fourth of July fireworks show almost a year in advance, I was shocked.
As someone who works in the daily business of churning and burning stories, that concept is impossible for me to comprehend. But that planning pays off in the form of one of the grandest firework shows in North Texas.
Illumination Fireworks is truly a local success story. They had been doing the in-game pyrotechnics for FC Dallas for a while before the club came to them and asked if they would be interested in doing the fireworks show for July 4th. The rest, is fireworks history.
