FC Dallas is in Houston for the second leg of the Texas Derby. And with the national broadcast on UniMás, the Every Save Makes a Difference program benefits a local Dallas non-profit.
Every save recorded on Thursday's match will result in a donation of $500 worth of soccer equipment to Lakeside Middle School. The mission of the Lakeside Middle School soccer program is to empower each student athlete to achieve their highest potential on the field, in the classroom, and in their daily lives.
This season, FCDallas' 14 saves have totaled $7,000 donations to Dallas-area schools and charities.
Since 2015, Every Save Makes A Difference has donated over $250,000 worth of equipment and has impacted over 120 different organizations.
FC Dallas will play six nationally televised games on UniMas/Univision in 2018:
