This week, FC Dallas takes on the red-hot New York Red Bulls in in a nationally televised match. And with the national broadcast on UniMás, the Every Save Makes a Difference program will benefit a local Dallas non-profit.
This week, every save recorded will result in a donation of $500 worth of soccer equipment to Mooreland YMCA, whose mission is to put Christian values into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We serve approximately 10,000 members with physical fitness, aquatics, youth sports, special needs preschool, teen youth and government, adventure guide programs and much more.
This initiative, sponsored by Major League Soccer and Univision, focuses on providing soccer equipment for local, Hispanic-facing community-based organizations. This season, the initiative has helped raise $5,000 for soccer equipment to Dallas area charities.
