DALLAS- The FC Dallas U13s found a victory of 3-0 to Dallas Texans U13s and their ticket to semifinals tomorrow morning.
“A tough game, from the first moment they put a line of six on the back, four in the middle and one forward, so they played very defensively,” U13 head coach Peter Luccin said. “However, this is what goes on when we play against a team in quarterfinals, but we did good. We were very patient waiting to create the space and the boys did excellent.”
FCDs U13s started their match trying to find rhythm in the first half. A lot of opportunities created but would not have a goal until the second half.
“In the first half we struggled a little bit passing the ball and having to create chances behind the six back from Texans but, this is what we are here for,” mentioned Luccin. “We are learning, we have to play against different teams with different concepts. We played today against a team with just defense and we need to know how to play against a team like this.”
