COPA CHIVAS: U18s fall in quarterfinals, eliminated from tournament

FC Dallas' U18's particpation in Copa Chivas Internacional Scotiabank 2016 has come to an end after falling 1-2 to Danish side FC Midjtylland.  Dallas looked set to march on to the semi-finals with an early goal from forward Devin Vega. However, Midjtylland scored two unaswered goals to reach the tournament's next stage. 


The youngsters' tournament ends with a record of two matches won, one tied and two lost; with seven goals scored and six goals against. 


Some of the team's best performers were Devin Vega and Toshiki Yasuda who scored two times, with homegrown player Alex Zendejas and Weston McKinnie also drawing rave reviews from their performance in the tournament.


The Academy returns to US Soccer Development Academy play next weekend against Dallas Texans.
