FRISCO - North Texas SC players Callum Montgomery and Thomas Roberts have been named to USL League One Team of the Week for their performance in the club's week 16 match against the Richmond Kickers on Saturday, July 13.
Defender Callum Montgomery found the back of the net for the second time this season with a header from a corner to score the second goal of the match in North Texas' 2-0 victory over the Richmond Kickers. The Canadian also won eight of his nine duels and completed 30 of his 37 passes to earn his second Team of the Week honor.
Midfielder Thomas Roberts also scored his second goal of the season on Saturday with a beautiful curling effort into the far corner to open the scoring. Roberts made five key passes and completed 47 of 60 passes en route to his second Team of the Week inclusion.
