This weekend in Frisco, the annual Bobby Rhine Invitational, presented by MoneyGram will be held at the Toyota Soccer Center.
The tournament, the only Toyota Soccer Center-hosted tournament to serve as an automatic qualifier for the Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup, commemorates the late FC Dallas legend Bobby Rhine and is open to boys teams in the U-10 through U-16 age ranges.
Over 70 teams and 1,400 players from around the region and even Mexico will compete in the tournament, with the winners of the U-13, U-14, U-15 and U-16 brackets automatic qualification for the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXVIII next April (U-15 automatic bid is only if there is a non-North Texas champion).
All games begin on Friday, Nov. 25 and run through Sunday, Nov. 27, with Championship games set for 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free to the public. For more information, click here.
