Antonio Carrera and Nolan Norris Called into National Team Duty

FRISCO, Texas (March 17, 2023) – FC Dallas Homegrowns Antonio Carrera (U.S. U-20s) and Nolan Norris (U.S. U-19s) have been called to represent the United States at the youth level for the upcoming FIFA international break.

Carrera, 19, will join the U.S. Under-20 Men’s Youth National Team in Marbella, Spain from March 19-29 and will face France, England and Serbia U-21s. It’s the group’s final camp before the summer’s FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia. The FIFA U-20 World Cup Draw will take place on March 31 in Denpasar, Indonesia.

Carrera signed as the 33rd Homegrown in club history on Feb. 21, 2022 and made his professional debut on March 26, 2022 with North Texas SC. Carrera was the starting goalkeeper in 16 matches for North Texas SC in 2022, allowing 18 goals, making 53 saves and recording a 74.7 saves percentage.

Norris, 18, will join the U.S. U-19 Men’s Youth National Team in Buenos Aires, Argentina from March 20-28 and will face Argentina and Racing Club de Avellaneda. Norris has been a part of all six U-19 MYNT camps so far this cycle.

Norris signed as the 35th FC Dallas Homegrown on Nov. 16, 2022. He his professional debut for North Texas SC in the 1-0 win against Earthquakes II on April 17, 2022. Norris was part of the U.S. U-19 team that won the Slovenia Nations Cup in September 2022.
