FRISCO, Texas – The FC Dallas Academy teams had the weekend off from league play, giving a mixed squad of U-18 and U-16 players the opportunity to travel to Houston and face the U-17 Men's National Team. All three Pre Academy teams had league matches on Sunday, posting a record of 1-1-1 against Solar Chelsea SC on the weekend.

FC Dallas Academy: 1
U-17 MNT: 2


The Academy mixed squad got the jump on the National Team. After half an hour of scoreless soccer, Danny Garcia scored on a quick counter in the 30th minute. However, the U.S. U-17s found an equalizer just before the half to knot the game at 1-1. FCD had the possession advantage in the second half, but couldn't convert on any of their opportunities. The go-ahead goal came off a converted penalty kick the U-17s were awarded in the 89th minute.


FC Dallas U-15s: 1
Solar Chelsea SC: 1


The U-15 Pre Academy posted a 1-1 draw on the weekend, extending their unbeaten run to six matches. Livano Salas scored the lone goal to salvage the point for FCD, his fourth goal of the season.


FC Dallas U-14s: 2
Solar Chelsea SC: 1


The U-14s picked up the lone FC Dallas win of the weekend, beating Solar 2-1 on Sunday off goals by Christian Ramirez and Bernie ZuaZua. It was ZuaZua's second goal of the season while Ramirez scored his 21st of the campaign in the win.


FC Dallas U-13s: 1
Solar Chelsea SC: 4


The U-13 Pre Academy team suffered their second straight loss on Sunday, dropping a 4-1 result to Solar. Benji Granillo scored the lone goal of the match for Dallas, his fourth of the campaign.

The FC Dallas Academy and Pre Academy teams will travel to Houston this weekend to face Texans SC Houston. The U-18s and U-16s will play on Saturday while the U-15s, U-14s and U-13s will play on Sunday.
