FRISCO, Texas – The FC Dallas Academy teams hit the road last weekend and came away with two wins and two draws against Sporting Kansas City and Indiana United Fire Academy. The Pre Academy teams didn't travel, but will return to action this weekend in Frisco.

FC Dallas U-18s: 3
Sporting Kansas City: 0
The U-18s posted their fifth straight shutout against Sporting Kansas City in Missouri last Friday, defeating the fellow MLS side 3-0. After registering a hat trick the previous week, Jose De La Tejera got the scoring started for FC Dallas in the 28th minute. Defender Nicholas Rochowski, who will play for the University of New Mexico next year, chipped in his second goal of the season in the 33rd minute to make it a 2-0 lead. Midfielder Flavio Guzman rounded out the scoring in the 39th minute, to give Dallas the 3-0 lead before the end of the first half. The result stretched FCD's shutout streak to 467 minutes.
FC Dallas U-18s: 1
Indiana United Fire: 1
Two days later the U-18s faced Indiana United Fire Academy at Butler University in Indianapolis. The home team struck early, when forward Thomas Sanner found the back of the net in the seventh minute. The tally ended FCD's shutout streak at 474 minutes. The Dallas side managed to get one back in the 28th minute, when forward Bobby Edet scored his seventh goal of the season to tie the match 1-1.
The draw brought FCD's overall record to 16-1-3. The squad continues to maintain their 11 point cushion at the top of the Texas Division.
FC Dallas U-16s: 2
Sporting Kansas City: 2
The U-16s gave up an early goal against Sporting Kansas City when Luke Stanley scored in the third minute of the match. Alberto Galvan tied things up in the 27th minute with his fourth goal of the season, but ten minutes later Cole Stevenson found the back of the net to give the home team the 2-1 lead heading into halftime. FC Dallas midfielder Abdul Yassine found the game-tying goal in the 63rd minute to end the game in a 2-2 draw.
FC Dallas U-16s: 3
Indiana United Fire: 2
On Sunday the U-16s played their second game of the weekend against a well-rested Indiana side that hadn't played a match since December. The home team went up early when forward Joey Bastian scored in the 18th minute. Dallas responded with three straight goals before the end of the half to take the 3-1 lead. Yassine got his second goal in as many games when he struck first for Dallas in the 31st minute. Forward Erick Chapa gave FC Dallas the lead a minute later with his third goal of the season. And U-17 Residency product Kellyn Acosta, who recently committed to the University of Maryland, tacked on an insurance goal in the 40th minute. Acosta's would stand as the game-winner, as Indiana's Bastian struck again in the 49th minute to bring the match to its final scoreline of 3-2 in favor of FC Dallas.
The U-16s are on a nine-game unbeaten streak, having not lost a match since early December. They sit in third in the Texas Division with an overall record of 8-4-8, three points behind Texans SC Houston and 10 points behind the first place Dallas Texans.

The FC Dallas Academy and Pre Academy teams will all be in action on the Complex at FC Dallas Stadium this weekend. The U-18s, U-16s, U-14s and U-13s will all be facing Classics Elite on Saturday, while the U-15s will host Lonestar SC that same day. The U-14s and U-13s will then host Lonestar SC on Sunday.
