OCEANSIDE, Calif. — The U-17s lost their opening match in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Playoffs. They fell to Columbus Crew SC 1-0.
FC Dallas had a bunch of good chances throughout the game, but could not find the back of the net.
Defensively, they were very sound until an error in stoppage time and Columbus' Samuel Sarver capitalized, scoring the game-winner in the 93rd minute.
FCD will play Chargers Soccer Club on Thursday. They tied the LA Galaxy 1-1 in their opening game.
