FRISCO - The Academy season is just beginning, but it's already time to start thinking ahead to Tournament Week 2019.

FC Dallas' U-17 team is in Toronto this weekend as qualifying for the 2019 Generation adidas Cup begins with three matches against other MLS foes.
There are 21 MLS teams in total vying for placement in the Champions Division for the annual international tournament held at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco. Dallas has been drawn into Group B with Sporting KC, Montreal Impact, Toronto FC, Houston Dynamo, Columbus Crew SC and Chicago Fire. In the round robin qualification stage, only the top two teams from each group and two wild card teams with the best second place finish will advance to the Champions Division, competing against the top Academy teams from around the world.

- FC Dallas 3, Sporting KC 0: Dante Sealy scored a brace and Ricardo Pepi added another for Dallas as they topped Sporting KC in the opening game of 2019 qualifying

- FC Dallas 2, Toronto FC 1: Jonathan Gomez and Collin Smith each tally as Dallas completes a perfect 3-0 weekend north of the border
