FRISCO - FC Dallas will be well-represented when the U.S. Soccer Development Academy holds the Academy Playoffs for the U-17 and U-19 age groups in Oceanside, California starting on June 18.
The U-17 team was awarded the number one overall playoff seed by finishing with the best record in the country, recording 70 points in 25 games and an astonishing 23-1-1.
They are in Group F with the LA Galaxy, Chargers Soccer Club and Columbus Crew SC.
The U-19 team is the No. 2 overall seed in their playoffs, finishing second out of 74 teams in the league. They amassed a 21-3-1 record, scoring 90 goals in 25 games.
They are in Group E with NYCFC, Saint Louis Football Club and Sacramento Republic FC.
Although there are no playoffs for the U-15 group, FC Dallas had the second most points per game in the league out of 82 teams. They were 19-2-1 and only allowed 15 goals in 22 games.
