North Texas SC returns home after two consecutive road games, including their most recent result a 1-1 draw against Real Monarchs. In the last match, the team was able to strike early with forward José Mulato scoring in the box in the 32nd minute before conceding a late equalizer in extra time to end the game in a draw. Mulato now has 10 goal contributions the season, including seven goals and three assists. After earning a hard-fought point on the road in a game where North Texas had 72% of possession, the team returns home looking to build on the performance. North Texas will take on the current third seed in the western conference Tacoma Defiance in hopes of earning points to climb into a playoff position.

Player to Watch

Last match forward José Mulato recorded his team-high 10th goal contribution in an eventual 1-1 defeat to Real Monarchs. The goal in the last game brings his tally up to seven goals and three assists on the season, with only 15 games played. Mulato has been very productive this season for North Texas, averaging .56 goals per 90 minutes. All seven of the Colombian forward’s goals have come through the run of play and were scored inside the 18-yard box. This season Mulato has been splitting his time between North Texas and FC Dallas, having made 18 appearances so far for the senior team. The 20-year-old looks to continue his scoring output in the upcoming match against Tacoma Defiance.

Fans are encouraged to purchase a prepaid parking ticket as day of game parking prices vary on events happening within the district. Tickets can be purchased through the AXS app or in person at Choctaw Stadium. Fans can also purchase tickets online. Fans may purchase either general admission tickets for $20 or field level seats for $40.
