STORY LINES

Comeback Kids

After falling behind 1-0 in the 16th minute to MNUFC 2 last match, North Texas banded together to secure a 2-1 victory. The goals were scored in the 60th and 81st minute respectively by Theo Ferreira and Herbert Endeley. Both players are only 21 years old, speaking to the large success of youth in the organization. The pair will look to continue their goal scoring form Friday against Real Monarchs.

Professional Debutants

Last weekend marked a momentous occasion for two FC Dallas Academy players as 16-year-olds Malachi Molina and Nayrobi Vargas made their professional debuts as second-half substitutes. Molina and Vargas have already started to make a name for themselves. Both were called up to their respective countries' youth national teams for the 2023 Concacaf U17 Championship this past February, with Vargas representing Honduras and Molina representing Jamaica. With their professional debuts behind them, the pair will look to continue training and become regulars in the team for the future.
