STORY LINES

Point on the Road

In the last match, North Texas SC earned a tough point on the road against Sporting KC II. North Texas SC got on the board first in the 41st minute, with a confident strike from distance by 17-year-old midfielder Alejandro Urzua, assisted by fellow 17-year-old Anthony Ramirez. Sporting KC II equalized in the 57th minute, which would be the last goal in the game. As the team pushes towards the playoffs, the players can be proud of a point on the road against the team currently sitting in the sixth spot in the Western Conference. The club looks to continue amassing points, as they head into the next match against LAFC2.

Youthful Influence

This season, North Texas SC has seen major contributions from its young players and from the FC Dallas Academy. The team has benefitted from 11 total goal contributions from players under the age of 18. The emergence of youth this season has been critical in helping the club reach its goal of making the playoffs and being a serious contender. In the match against Colorado Rapids 2, North Texas started seven teenagers who contributed to all three goals. As the season edges closer to the playoffs, the club will look towards experienced players to lead the way, however it’s undeniable the influence that the young players have had on the team this season.

Get to Know LAFC2 

LAFC2 come into the match on the back of a 3-1 victory on the road over Whitecaps FC 2. Led by head coach Enrique Duran, the team currently sits in 14th position which is last in the Western Conference with 10 points through 13 games. In the last match, the club picked up its first win since May with a victory over Whitecaps 2. The team has struggled this season, with the fewest points in the league as the side has picked up just two wins to pair with seven losses and four ties. Offensively, the team has been led by forwards Yekeson Subah with three goals and Christian Torres with two assists. North Texas handed LAFC2 a 1-0 loss in their inaugural match at home in March.

Parking Information

There are two options for parking at Choctaw Stadium: parking lots E and L. Fans are encouraged to purchase a prepaid parking ticket as day of game parking prices vary on events happening within the district. Ticket Information

Tickets can be purchased through the AXS app or in person at Choctaw Stadium. Fans can also purchase tickets online. Fans may purchase either general admission tickets for $20 or field level seats for $40. Kids get a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket throughout the month of July.
