2014: Named Etihad Airways Player of the Month award for March after scoring two goals and adding an assist in FC Dallas’ 3-0-1 start to the season… Picked up two more assists and a goal the next four matches before suffering a knee injury against D.C. United on April 26… Returned on July 4, a 2-1 win against Philadelphia, but was limited to minutes off the bench… Started his first match since April 26 against Vancouver in MLS Cup Playoffs and led Dallas to a 2-1 win in the Wild Card round by setting up Tesho Akindele’s goal in the 40th minute. 2012-2013: Joined FC Dallas in July, made his debut on Aug. 3 at Seattle… Scored a goal in his first start for FC Dallas at Portland on Aug. 17… Had a goal and an assist versus Vancouver on Sept. 7… Had his second goal-and-assist game against Columbus on Sept. 29… Totaled three goals and two assists in 423 minutes… Returned to River Plate following a loan to Unión Española, started twice for the 34-time champions of the Argentine first division during the 2013 Torneo Inicial… Appeared in 41 matches while on loan to Unión Española, 26 of which were starts, for a total 2,267 minutes of action... Scored five goals and had seven assists as a 22-year-old. 2008-2011: Made his debut for famed Argentine side River Plate as a 17-year-old on Sept. 21… The attacking midfielder scored three goals in 53 appearances for the Argentine first division team.
