The Supporter's Role
Followers of the club since the birth of the Dallas Burn in 1995, the Inferno help provide a true home field advantage at Toyota Stadium. They strive to be the premier Ultras organization for the club in Sections 120 and 121, alternatively known as “The Wedge” and for 90 minutes, scream and chant for their team. Prior to games, the Inferno comes together at their traditional tailgates in the parking lots adjacent to the stadium.
Created in January of 2012, Red Shamrock consists of a group of passionate FC Dallas fans that call Section 101 home. They strive to educate fans, i.e. “Soccer 101” in Section 101 on how to show your support for a soccer team through song, chants, and a positive spirit. They share their positivity by handing out lapel pins of a red shamrock to fans that cheer for FC Dallas for the entire match.
Dallas Football Elite
Often donning their signature blue t-shirts, the Dallas Football Elite (DFE) sits in Section 103 as well as participate in the Budweiser Beer Garden festivities. The group – created in 2011 – spends their match day experience heckling the opposition while cheering FC Dallas to three points. They also have the Freedom Warrior, a supporter who dresses like Mel Gibson from Braveheart and stands in front of the group leading them in various cheers.
Dallas Beer Guardians
Occupants of the Budweiser Beer Garden at the north end of Toyota Stadium, the Dallas Beer Guardians (DBG) represent one of the rowdiest sections in Major League Soccer. Dressed with their FC Dallas scarves and cold beers offered exclusively in the Beer Garden, the DBG’s heckle opposing team’s goalkeepers and motivate FC Dallas players. If you’re ever in the Beer Garden, spend a few minutes with the Beer Guardians. You won’t regret it.
