FRISCO, Texas- After a dominating win over the Houston Dynamo. Jesus Ferreira made it on to the MLS Team of the Week, and Zdenek Ondrasek is on the bench after great offensive performances.
Jesus Ferreira had a great performance against Houston scoring his first goal in the first half of the match putting FC Dallas up 2-0 before the half. He has scored 7 goals this season so far, and is one of the leading goal scorers of the 2019 season. He has repeatedly shown his offensive power even with position shifts from the top attack, to a midfield focus. This is his fourth appearance this season on MLS Team of the Week.
Zdenek Ondrasek also makes his first appearance on team of the week this season, with two goals against the Houston Dynamo. Ondrasek has only started two games this season, but has managed to score three goals in his past two appearances, two of those goals being scored this week against the Dynamo. He has added a new level of depth and energy to the FC Dallas offense as they look to build heading in to the final push of the season.
