MANSFIELD, Texas (Sept. 22, 2026) - North Texas SC forward William Gabriel has been called up to the Mexico U-20 Men’s national team from Sept. 27 - Oct. 5 for international friendlies in Spain.
Gabriel joined North Texas on loan from Toluca FC on Sept. 10, 2026. He joined the Toluca FC Academy in January 2026 ahead of the Liga MX U-21 Clausura. He made his club debut on Jan. 10, 2026 against Monterrey U-21s and scored his first goal for the club on Jan. 17, 2026 against Tigres UANL U-21. With Los Diablos Rojos, Gabriel scored 12 goals in 15 appearances, winning the 2025-26 Clausura Golden Boot.
He started his professional career with CA Juventus SP U-17s, where he scored 10 goals in 18 appearances before joining Barra FC U-20 and competing in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. Internationally, Gabriel is eligible to represent Brazil and Mexico. Gabriel received his first Mexico U-20 training camp call-up this year.
