AUSTIN, Texas (Aug. 8, 2025) – North Texas SC (8-8-4, 31 points) tied 1-1 in regulation versus Austin FC II (7-5-8, 32 points) before winning the extra point shootout 6-5 to take home two points.

Goalkeeper JT Harms sported the captain armband for the first time this season. The Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, native registered seven saves in tonight’s match as captain, setting a new career high.

SWANN GETS HIS FIRST GOAL

North Texas SC midfielder Caleb Swann scored his first professional goal in the 48th minute of the match after an assist from Pedrinho. Swann becomes the club’s 13th different goal scorer this season. The FC Dallas Academy product signed with North Texas SC on Dec. 20, 2024.

Midfielder Pedrinho made his first start with North Texas SC in the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season. He registered his first assist of the season in Caleb Swann’s goal. Pedrinho started for NTSC in the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Invitational where he netted a brace in the 3-1 win. The Brazilian product signed with FC Dallas on Dec. 16, 2024, after scoring the game-winning goal in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup final on Nov. 9.
