Midfielder Aaron Essel scored his second goal of the season in the first minute of added time in the second half. The Ghanaian international also converted his penalty kick in the extra point shootout.

North Texas SC forward Sam Sedeh made his professional debut in the 62’ minute of the match. Sedeh signed with the club in April 2025, and is the 31st FC Dallas Academy alum to make their debut in MLS Next Pro.
