STL record: 10-3-2 (33 points –2nd in West)
NTX vs. STL all-time: First ever meeting

FIRST TIME RECORD
North Texas SC has a 7-1-1 record when playing opponents for the first time in the history of MLS NEXT Pro. NTSC has scored 18 goals and has conceded seven goals in the nine games played.

AWAY FROM HOME
North Texas SC holds an all-time record of 18-16-9 when playing on the road since the club started playing in 2019 in USL League One. NTSC has registered 61 goals with 58 assists and has conceded 58 goals in 43 games played all time.

SCORING IN EVERY GAME
North Texas SC is the only club in MLS NEXT Pro to have scored at least one goal in all its matches played so far. The most goals the club has scored in a match was four goals vs. MNUFC2 on June 26. The last time North Texas SC failed to score in a match was in a USL League One match vs. South Georgia Tormenta FC in a 2-0 defeat on September 11, 2021.

Pa-Modou Kah: “I don’t like to talk about those things because for me we just have keep the flow going and continue doing what we have been doing. It’s just about stepping in a game knowing that in any given moment we can get a goal.”

SHARING THE LOVE
North Texas SC has 13 different goal scorers in the 2022 regular season with seven players with more than two goals scored. Bernard Kamungo leads the team with seven goals this season. The most goal scorers NTSC has ever had in one season is 15, which occurred during the inaugural 2019 USL League One campaign.

Pa-Modou Kah: “A part of our DNA is that we are a team that does not want to solely rely on just one player to do the scoring. That’s how teams become more predictable and opponents easily guess that. For us it is very important to have multiple players that can score and that can be very dangerous when given an opportunity.”

THE OPPONENTS
St Louis CITY2 sit second place in the Western Conference with a 10-3-2 record and 33 points. CITY2 has scored 30 goals and has conceded 17 goals in 15 games played. Forward Josh Dollin leads the club with seven goals and is in a five-way tied for assist leader with three assists. Michael Creek leads the goalkeepers with 16 saves while registering a 59.3 saves percentage over eight games. St Louis CITY2 is coming off a bye week, but before the break the club earned a 2-1 win over MNUFC2 on the road.

Collin Smith: “I expect a good hard-fought game. Both teams will have a strong mentality heading into the game with the hunger to win as well. We know they are above us in the table and we want to knock down any team that is above us. The mentality is you have to knock down the top dogs to be up there in the table. That is what the team wants and that is what Pa wants. I am sure both teams will head into this match with that mentality.”
